The Followers of Dovah - A murder mystery in Skyrim (WIP)
A downloadable mod
A murder in Skyrim has happened. You are approached to visit someone at the Bee & Barb in Riften.
A quest is given to the player to find a murdered victim only to uncover a mysterious Cult - known as The Followers of Dovah.
Quest Stages are broken up into 5 stages:
- The player is approached by someone who hands them a letter stating for them to please go to the Bee & Barb in Riften. The player is then told to investigate this murder.
- The player goes inside a home with a dead body inside. They must find 4 clues which then the player will need to return to the friend of the victim back at the Bee & Barb. They explain they knew about this fanatical cult.
- No further mission is given but as the player leaves the Bee & Barb, a Warlord for the cult approaches you to tell you to stop looking for any further clues, not realizing who you are. You can either fight back or use speech skills to get out of it. Either way, you will receive a note with their intention and location.
- A Dungeon will be made, and the cult are inside that dungeon. You can either fight them, tell them you will turn them in to the guards or leave them be, but not have any part in their plan. These choices are just an ‘illusion’ and the player will have to fight this faction regardless of the outcome. There will be a custom sword found there as well as a note from the leader of the “Followers of Dovah” stating they knew what was going to happen when you found them, and the prophecy is still alive. They are still… alive.
- The player returns to the Bee & Barb and receives their reward and the quest is finished but thus the new faction is now part of Skyrim.
Gameplay video to be added soon.
